I told them then there was no reason for me to continue making payments then. After paying about 4x what was owed each month for about 9 months, I was finally told that they don't put payments on credit reports unless you only pay the minimum payment agreed to in thr contract. I also asked them to update our credit reports as the only reason we financed the tractor was to build my husband's credit. I could not tell how much had already been paid or how much was still owed to verify that they were applying my payments correctly. However, not only would they not send one, but the two times they did, there was no information on the bill other than the minimum due. When I would call, I would also ask for a bill so I could see how much I still owed. Rather, they said that I had to call them monthly and ask for the payment to be applied correctly. I asked for funds over my required payment to be applied to the principal each month but they said they couldn't do that. I also didn't receive a bill because they said I had paid ahead. Rather than applying it to the principal, they applied it to future payments. I paid more than what was owed each month. For all I know, they pocketed it! It is scary. I honestly do not know where my extra monthly payment went to. I have not ONCE received any type of documentation from DLL. Paula L (8/11/22) and Logan ** sounds like had the same experiences. I am confused why the rating is an A+ when every review is a 1 star. We will not do business with this company again. I got nowhere with customer service and asked to be called or contacted by a manger.nothing happened. I asked a copy of the contract with the the clause that states it. They go on to state that since I paid over the minimum that they did a restructuration on the account. A restructuration is not following the terms of the loan. Unfortunately by doing a restructuration on your account, this statement is no longer available for you because I can only send you an amortization per the terms of the loan. You are asking for an amortization schedule with the interest and balance per payment. I called to get the balance and asked for a full summary of all payment paid and interest paid. When the balance was low, I decided to just pay off the balance. The payment was about $186 or something like that.
